Apparently It's Not All Heavy Metal

It's 11:03pm - I was lying in bed with the dogs reading (as sitting on the couch causes breathing difficulties - preggo ladies and moms - I know that YOU know what I'm talkin' about) a wonderful novel by Jodi Picoult called "Handle With Care". I think it's fairly new - dated 2009 on the front cover.
Anyways - to keep it brief - it's about a family who has a child that is diagnosed with OI (osteogenesis imperfecta) aka Brittle Bone Disease. It's a very heart wretching story about having to handle your child with care in fear of a broken bone or a fracture with every breath she takes. And then on top of that trying to get a claim and sue the doctor that also happens to be the mother's best friend. And so on and so on.

Anyways - my internet was down earlier - so I figured it'd be a good time to give my eyes a break. I have been out here for 5 minutes and am listening to "Boom Boom Pow" by the Black Eyed Peas. It's a constant stop and play and lots of loud chatter/thumping from the apartment beside(?) us. I am now more positive that they're beside us as they're out on the balcony.
The girl that told us about this place told us it was so quiet here that she didn't even know she had neighbours. Considering this is the first I have really heard my neighbours after living here for almost a month - I'm impressed.
However - I hope this isn't a regular occurrence - especially with the dark and gloominess of November coming - oh and a baby on top of that.
Rent is so decently priced and the flat is just what we need - I don't want to move or have to because of some partying going on next door.
And no - we don't have a landlord. The person we are renting from actually owns this flat and we pay her directly through monthly payments.
Hopefully it's quieter in the bedroom.
Clearly - not all Fins are into Heavy Metal.
