6:30 am on a Friday morning in Finland, the sun's rising the dogs are still sleeping and I'm screaming wriggling and then flying off the bed in pain....I smuck my head into the closet doors and Tim is freaking out too I imagine.
Damn leg spasms or pains or cramps - whatever you want to title them. They are the devil. I tried relaxing and taking deep breaths - but nothing seemed to work.
The dogs awoke and stared at me huffing and puffing - I'm sure they were thrilled because I kicked one in the side in my seizure-like motions and scared the crap out of the other.
When I finally managed to stop screaming and crying and drag myself to the bathroom and back to the bedroom and lie back down - now terrified to fall asleep again in case it happened again - Tim was asleep, Blue was watching me carefully and Loki was on his back taking up my portion of the bed again. "Snooze you lose" was in the smile he gave me. Clearly I must've kicked him by accident.
Well the womb is a tough thing - because the baby decided to poke the heck out of me after all of this flopping about and finally calmed down when I did after about 10 minutes.
I've done some research - I'm going to drink water like I'm about to go live in a dessert, and elevate my leg and get some more iron, magnesium and calcium in my system.
Time to crochet in bed.
