So today I wasn't feeling very perky and decided to have a nap. Tim stayed home today as it looked like it was going to rain (it eventually did while he was out with the dogs in the woods).
I then had a sudden urge to bake. I went ahead and made the cookie crust for the blueberry pie again - this time converting 400 degrees Fahrenheit into Celsius (it's 204.444 in case you're wondering) for my oven and once that was completed - I did the dishes and moved onto muffins.
I have no idea what possessed me to bake 2 dishes in one day...but I did it.
I'm still too full from fajitas to have a slice of the blueberry pie or a muffin.
Ah well - once 10-11pm rolls around - I'm usually starving and having cramps.
SPEAKING of cramps - what the heck? Why in the world would Mother Nature tease a woman in the fashion of fake contractions? Mine are very light and annoying - I know it "can always be worse" and probably is for other women and as you get further along in the pregnancy - but seriously!
Thankfully - I live across the street from the hospital.
Food is my friend (in decent portions) and my trusty bottle of water.
Onto other things - I've been crocheting a tonne of coasters for the up-coming holiday season....great Christmas presents and now I'm actually proud of them because they have shape and don't look like I closed my eyes and crocheted like mad. I got the beginning of the pattern from the slippers I was making Tim and then I did some double crochets a couple rounds and voila - finished.
Tim's been asking me for some as his coasters I made him before for his mug and tea pot are quite pathetic looking (although he won't admit it)...they were some of my earlier experiments with crochet - before I finally plunked my butt down to learn how to read patterns.
Oh and "Pepsi Max". God that stuff tastes weird. There's no sugar in it - and wow it tastes so "off". I'll definitely be drinking this stuff slowly.
