Less than 3 months until Christmas!

Ah yes - I'm into my regular count-down (month-to-month not day-to day until December hits) until Christmas.
It's going to be different for sure- as we're not in Canada, I doubt they have turkey here (the oven size - remember?) - or atleast not roast a whole turkey.....and well we'll have a baby Riggs by then.
Terribly exciting.

Anyways - nearly done my book (sorry this should all be in my other blog...but the internet is slow and rickety - so I'll take what I can get!) I'm reading and it's a tear-jerker/jaw-dropper lovely novel. Then probably back to needle felting I go.

I was reading earlier and concerned about the noise level (which Tim reminded me - is the first time there was a party in the building since we moved in being a month ago on the 22nd) - but as I was lying in bed reading with the dogs, where the sound wasn't nearly as loud - thank Heavens - the noise suddenly disappeared.
Maybe I was too absorbed in my book and the comfort of my two boys snuggled around me to notice - but the Boom Boom Pow and The Doors stopped playing and the voices weren't rowdy. It was perfectly silent.
I crept into the living room - expecting to hear an explosion of a party - but there was nothing. I thought I was going crazy!
The clock said 12:05am. They were done partying on a Saturday night by midnight. WOW. I figure the baby will have awful sleeping patterns and this may work in our benefit if the partying is done by 12!
I'm so not used to this...maybe they're all passed out or maybe they all went downtown to the other bars...or maybe this is the norm?
