Sunday shopping is done now...

'Tis the season for Sunday shopping to come to end - I found out the hard way.
Grocery stores are still open from 12-9pm (depending on location) and restaurants/bars are still open - but that's it. I decided to go downtown today to pick up some card stock and to try to find rubbing alcohol to clean up a tick bite Blue has from yesterday. No luck - however the weather was nice so it was pleasant enough to walk around. The only down-fall was the lower back pain I have been experiencing steadily for the past couple of days.
People stared at me as I walked around with Tim - I wore a short sleeved shirt, capris and sneakers. Most people were wearing coats, sweaters, scarves, hats and gloves. Hahaha.

I managed to skip an ice cream cone AND Hesburger AND Grilli 21. I'm impressed.

Depending on how the back is - I'll go downtown (again) and get things picked up. Wahoo.
I found a store that Tim described as "kind of like Wal-mart" beneath the post office....very exciting. Will definitely have venture that way.

On our way back home we walked through the pond area and I saw a bunch of sleeping ducks...decided to take a photo and one came over after I said hello to her and allowed me to take a few photos of her. Then she decided I must have food and that I owe her something for taking a few shots of her. So she followed us half ways around the pond...she was quite quick too and was a little peeved that we were so far ahead - she honked loudly once. Tim crouched down (while I filmed) and she came up within centimeters of his fingers to see empty hands. Then Little Miss Ducky was quite un-impressed. As we continued our trek home - I took one last look back to see if L.M. Ducky was still behind us - and saw a rainbow where the water fountain is in the pond. I am so happy and thrilled to finally be able to capture a rainbow - even if only partial - as they're very tricky to capture (personally). Oh and Little Miss Ducky decided to go for a swim and give us the cold wing.

I may upload the video on Youtube....we'll see.
