Kela Maternity Package

So a friend I made who lives in Espoo (not pronounced "Es-pooh" but more like "Es-po" - a little ways outside of Helsinki but not anywhere near me - met online in the Felting Forum I'm part of), commented on one of my earlier posts about my bitchings of Braxton Hicks and pregnancy...provided me a link that I think is VERY interesting.

As well they have a photo of everything included in the "2009" package and update this every year I guess.

I am so very sad to read that I do not qualify for this as I haven't been here for 154 days(22 weeks) of the pregnancy - nor did I have my 4 month appointment here in Finland.
Ah well.
The package as you can see when you look at the links is amazing!
From condoms and breast pads, to cloth diapers to enough clothing for a week! It's crazy. And would've saved us a lot of money.
Ah well. And yes you read correctly a box being used as a crib (until you get a real one set up I guess).

Tim's laughing at me/smirking at me because I swore upside down/inside out that I won't have another child until 3-5 years from now because A) I'll need time to recover hahaha and (B) because I don't want the kids to be too close together in age. I just find that everybody I know who has a sibling within 1-2 years hates each others guts up until they move out. That's just too much drama for me!
